ABOUT US

History of Our Club

The Northborough Art Guild was founded in March 1963, when several local artists took painting lessons together and began meeting regularly at one of their homes. The Northborough Art Guild is a non-profit group that promotes arts in the community with two annual art shows and monthly meetings from September through April, except December. Generally meetings are held at the Northborough Historical Society located at 52 Main Street, and usually feature a guest speaker and a demonstration. An art show in September during Applefest kicks off each new year. The show is presented in collaboration with the Northborough Garden Club. The exhibit displays pairings of floral arrangements with artwork created by Art Guild members.
